Hot and cold: Top ten cartoons of the week

It was an interesting week, as no single news story (outside of “Dilbert” being dropped by its syndicate) seemed to dominate the headlines. As a result, this week’s most reprinted cartoons span across multiple topics and ideas. 

Our most popular cartoon among editors this week was Jeff Koterba’s piece on the growing divide between red and blue states. Only in this case, he was riffing off the weather, which was equally as divisive this week .
