Election unease: Top ten cartoons of the week

Editors were big fans of Chris Weyant this week, who had our top three most-reprinted cartoons.

All three touched on the unease heading into the 2024 election rematch between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Weyant and a couple of cartoonists riffed on the new movie “Civil War,” which has obviously political undertones for our divided nation.

We also got a popular cicada cartoon from Rick McKee, with the bugs worried what type of world their kids will crawl up into in the next decade. Even the insects are paranoid.
