Plastic posturing: Top ten cartoons of the week

It’s summer, which is typically a slower time for news. But between wildfires in Canada, controversial Supreme Court rulings, and the launch of Twitter rival Threads, there’s been plenty to keep our cartoonists busy. 

Easily our most popular cartoon this week was by Dave Whamond, a funny jab at stores requiring us to use reusable bags while just about everything we’re buying comes in a plastic container.
